Simple projects
A Simple project is built from three layers, composed automatically:
- General base behaviour — the shared conversational manners every Simple project starts with (how it greets, handles interruptions, ends a call).
- Industry template — a starting point for a kind of business or task (for example “Medical practice” or “General enquiries & callbacks”), which pre-selects a sensible set of skills and settings. See Industries and use cases below.
- Skills — individually toggleable capabilities. Each skill contributes its own instructions and, where relevant, a tool the agent can call and settings you fill in. Enable only the skills your business needs; disabled skills contribute nothing to the running agent.
Some skills require something connected before they can be enabled — a knowledge base for Knowledge Q&A, a calendar for Appointment booking. See the skill reference for the full list and each skill’s requirements, and the practical guide for how to set one up.
No branching logic or hooks — a Simple project always runs as one composed agent, not a graph you wire node-by-node. Need branching logic, pre/post-call hooks, integrations beyond what a skill covers, or Professional-plan node types instead?
